Fancy a Cute Romance Read to Cosy Up with this Halloween?

Try a sweet short romance for free this autumn

VAMPIRE FANGS, WITCHES hats and pumpkin-flavoured foodstuffs have started to creep onto the shelves in our local post office and grocery shop, so there is no denying now that Halloween is on its way.

Nearby, old sycamores draped in their autumn finery release showers of whirling helicopter seeds onto lawns and grass verges. And in the garden, onyx spiders glisten in the waning sunshine as they decorate blood-red apple-studded branches with silver gossamer.

This Halloween I look forward to the latest crop of little ghosts, vampires and witches as they go Trick or Treating around the village. Just as I took part in the seasonal activities with my witch’s hat and wand many Octobers ago. And when I'm not turning stout garden pumpkins into hot velvety soup, I press on with writing A Summer Romance with the Earl.

The Last Traces of Summer

As mentioned in my last post I am still very much at work completing the third book in the An Earl for All Season series, after much of my time has been taken up with intense physio for the last two years

On the plus side, as I reach the latter stages of healing from my injury I have now embarked on a slightly less intensive physio regime, which means I have a little more time to write during the day.

Hopefully this will speed up my progress and at least I can see an end in sight, not just regarding my recovery, but also for the latest installation in beleaguered copywriter Jess Smith’s romantic misadventures with the Earl of Birling Grove.

A Thank You Gift for Waiting

Therefore as thanks for waiting so patiently, I will be giving away my Halloween holiday romance short read A Date At The Little Pumpkin Café for free this autumn.

A Date at the Little Pumpkin Cafe

Will the demands of Emily’s brother and his fiancée spoil her romantic Halloween plans?

This sweet contemporary romance story starts in the leaf-strewn village of Puddlewick as teacher Emily A'Barrow is looking forward to having a quiet, cosy Halloween indoors as brisk winds scatter the autumn leaves outside.

However her attempts to avoid the spooky festivities are thwarted when she finds herself guilt-tripped into shopping for her niece's first Halloween party.

Will she make a date with the charming stranger she accidentally bumps into during her errands? Or will the demands of her brother and his future wife ruin a potential Halloween romance?
