I’m Giving Away Books For Free Starting This Thursday!
Hooray! It’s officially the Summer Solstice today or if you prefer to mark Midsummer then it’s this Friday, 25th June.

Having just enjoyed four days of pomp and pageantry during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, watched Trooping the Colour and devoured an immense barbeque with close friends and family, as I packed away the bunting I began to wonder how I could prolong the festivities.
Then I came up with an answer. As I was still in a celebratory mood, why not just give away some free romance books!
A Midsummer’s Night Read?
So tonight as I plan to watch my favourite Shakespearean play, A Midsummer Night's Dream as I do every midsummer, I intend to continue celebrating the season by giving away a romance book for free, every Thursday starting 23rd June 2022.
So if you looooove getting free romance reads, want to give a heartwarming romance a try during these hot and hazy days (or even thundery rainy ones!). Or would like to dive into something a little bit cooler during the long summer months, then these books just might be for you.
Simply click here on Thursday over the next few weeks, to get your hands on some free romantic reads to add to your TBR pile. Especially if you want a cute story to escape into for a while, find comfort in an HEA or at least an HFN, or love to revel in the excitement of a “will-they won’t-they” romance.
So if you’re looking to add to your TBR romance list this season, like to pick up some free romantic reads or just want to stuff your kindle with some new books you haven’t read yet, then I am really excited to be offering you my first in the series of free romance reads: A Romance on the Santa Express!
A Romance on the Santa Express
Will Melissa meet Mr. Right or go back to her on-again off-again ex?
It’s Christmas Eve and head librarian Melissa Wright is travelling on the Shepherds Valley railway’s Santa Express, to reconcile with her on-and-off again ex Alex. However when she locks eyes with a handsome stranger on the platform, he threatens to throw her plans off track.
As Melissa and Daniel share stories over the traditional festive trimmings and pull Christmas crackers in the dining car, she has a choice to make before her journey ends.
Does Melissa find romance with this new man or does she give into nostalgia and try yet again with the neglectful Alex?
So if you haven’t already downloaded this meet-cute romance between two strangers on a train, make sure you click HERE this Thursday to nab your free copy!
A Free Book Every Thursday
And whether you watched the sun rise this solstice or have more sedate summer plans this year, remember to keep your eye on this blog for my next free book every Thursday over the coming few weeks.
Brand Spanking New Romance Reads!
In the meantime, I am finishing at least one of my romance shorts very early which I hope to make available on this website within the next few weeks. (Amateur web-techie skills permitting!)
So do keep an eye out for that while I continue to beaver away on the latest instalment of my An Earl for All Seasons series, which features beleaguered copywriter Jess Smith’s romantic adventures with the notorious Earl of Birling Grove.
Meanwhile, I hope you enjoy the rest of the summer and I promise to update you as soon as my next romance novels are out.
If you want to be the first to know when more of my books or freebies are available, especially if you love modern regency romances with a determined hero and a flawed but feisty heroine, then just click here to sign up!
Happy Reading!
Kate
