A Quick Update: Two New Romance Reads Are Almost Here!

IT'S OFFICIALLY METEOROLOGICAL autumn in the UK, but it's still summer here in the village while I'm penning A Summer Romance with the Earl.

However as the seasons change and we spend more time indoors, I know how impatient I get waiting for the latest book in a series to drop. And I did promise you two meet-cute romance reads as a massive thank you for your support.

As I've already mentioned on this blog, I have also been beavering away writing a prequel for the An Earl for All Seasons series and a holiday romance for the upcoming Halloween season for you to enjoy.

Well they are almost here.

One romance book has already been completed, while the writing and editing is currently still being finished on the other. And I will be releasing both books for FREE this October, so please sign up here or check this website for updates of when your romance reads will be published.

A Blast From The Past

The prequel is about the early love life of beleaguered copywriter Jess Smith, before she leaves her childhood village of Birling Grove for London's big city lights.

However on the last day before she heads off to university, eighteen-year-old Jess still hopes that her friendship with childhood crush Matthew Churchill will blossom into something more---once they are far from the prying eyes of local villagers.

The story also explores the pact they make to marry if neither are wed by thirty, her ever-lurking nemesis Amanda Huntley, PLUS there’s a meeting with a handsome and mysterious young stranger on horseback…

A Spooktacular (Sorry!) Romance

The second romance read is a sweet meet-cute holiday romance about a teacher called Emily who is trying to avoid all Halloween festivities, but finds herself dragged into shopping for her niece’s Halloween party.

Will she make a date with the charming grey-eyed stranger she keeps bumping into during her errands? Or will her future sister-in-law’s demands thwart her plans?

Now as I’ve also mentioned before, my plan is to make one of these stories permanently available on this website and if this is successful I may upload more.

Meanwhile as I continue to make headway on A Summer Romance with the Earl, please continue to check here from time to time so you can get a heads-up of when the latest book of the An Earl for all Seasons series is available to download onto your Kindle.

Can't Wait Till October?

In the meantime if October seems too far away to wait for your next romance read, I have curated a reader-recommended summer romance list on Bingebooks.com. So if you’d like to get your hands on some gloriously sun-kissed reads to see the summer out then simply click here.

But for now, please enjoy the rest of the season and...

...Happy Romance Reading!

Kate
